These are fun-raising events for the King Rex and Queen Divine Candidates to compete for prize money. Open to the public and we encourage everyone to come - it gets quite entertaining! There will be 50/50 and raffle drawings at every event. Each event will have rules and guidelines so you can be prepared. Each sponsoring location donates at minimum $500 as prize money, sometimes much more and at each event the money is awarded in different ways. The Partnership will have a 50/50 raffle at each mixer, the money raised from that will be equally divided between ALL participating candidates that night. You want your friends, teams and everyone you know at these mixers, the more people the more fun, the more successful and the better you do.

and why should Leesburg vote for you?? That?s what we want to know. Tell everyone about yourself, your passions in life and why they should vote for you! Then introduce your Krewe?s theme to the mix. Wear your theme attire and gear everything around that theme. Tell everyone about the fun and entertainment YOU and your KREWE will provide throughout this Mardi Gras time in Leesburg. Community support is what will make you a winner!

?Dance Ball? ? February 4, 2010
Will be held at the Leesburg Center for the Arts 7 - 10 pm

It's all about the dance and pleasing the crowd! At this event, candidates will gather their friends and Krewes together to perform for the audience. Come find out who the true performers are in our community. More instructions will follow, but the candidate will have to

participate in this event in some way, but get some talent on your team for this event.

Will be held at the Leesburg Center for the Arts 7 - 10 pm

Back by popular demand this event has proven to be a packed-house and loads of fun. Each King and Queen Candidate will be participating in "SOME" form and we will hear some of the best singers that Lake County has to offer. Get there early for this blow-out event and celebration. For this you are going to want the best singer/performer that you can find.
